PMC needs an icon

Hello people,
work on PMC keeps going on, rocking, and i think it's the time for a real
icon for our beloved application.

I hope i cc'ed the right list. I kindly ask our friendly neighbourhood
artists if they mind designing an icon for Plasma Media Center.
Nuno did an amazing job in preparing mockups for us centuries ago but i
personally don't know if he already prepared an icon for us.

I'm also attaching a set of icons Lee Olson (hoping he's reading this mail)
prepared for us. I'd just like to know whether that icon is ok for the whole
team or if there are any changes to be made as I'm not an artist.

Hey,

Wow, exciting. It's good that we still have a lot of time to decide
about this. Lee's mockup looks flashy, but honestly, I see too many
different elements: rectangle, diagonals, circles, triangles, the
symmetry looks off to me and the blue shadow is only at the bottom. I
like the blue middle sphere a lot and I would like to see the play
triangle adapt more to the sphere and not only overlaid.
I love the blue, but not the black:-)

Well, if with "a real icon" you mean a sort of logo, i thought something like this:

I'm not really good in drawing, but maybe a kde-artist can take the idea from those files.
Basically, I thought to take the plasma logo and substitute the three drops with something
representing videos, music, and photos, with the same color of the drop.

Hi!

i made a logo for an online media service - but they buyed an other.
here it is - how ever, if you dont use it (until 2010-10-00), i will put
it back to market, and try to sell it (as usual).
